SKCC Foundation's donors are as diverse as San Diego itself. Although we represent a wide variety of interests, cultures, income levels, and experiences, we are all knit together as a community through a shared commitment to ending cancer in our lifetime.

SKCC Foundation offers extensive opportunities for donors to make a life-saving difference to others, not only in San Diego but across the world. Donations come in many forms—cash, stock, products, services—and may be designated for a specific use or given without restriction to be used wherever the need is greatest. The decision is entirely in the hands of each individual donor.

Mr. Sidney Kimmel Our Cancer Center is named after Mr. Sidney Kimmel, one of the greatest individual donors to cancer research of all time. He is the founder of the Jones Apparel Group, and the man behind the Jones New York, Polo Jeans, Nine West and Evan-Picone clothing lines. As a prominent philanthropist, Mr. Kimmel has used his personal resources, business acumen and industry contacts to raise awareness and funding for cancer research. He is nationally recognized for his philanthropy and advocacy on behalf of cancer research.
