Philanthropy is a critical to the fulfillment of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center's mission. The Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and solicits private support for new investigators, scientific equipment, experimental programs, and its endowment. There are a number of ways to become involved in supporting the Center's research.

Contribution Opportunities

Outright Gifts consist of cash (including pledges), securities, real estate, and certain kinds of personal property.

Estate Gifts are tax-wise gifts of cash, real estate, life insurance, or appreciated assets. They often produce extra income and can be tailored to fit a wide variety of purposes and financial profiles.

Endowment Gifts are carefully invested by the Center and the interest generated is used to support the donor's choice of research programs.

Tribute Gifts in recognition or memory of friends and family members have special meaning. A gift for any purpose may be given as a tribute to a special person or occasion. We send acknowledgement of your gift to whomever you designate.
