1. Information the SKCC
Foundation Gathers
The SKCC Foundation's site provides online information for
people interested in cancer research and for cancer patients. The request
for more information form gathers the names of interested visitors,
their
e-mail addresses, and mailing address. The donation form gathers names
of interested donors, their mailing and e-mail addresses, amount pledged
and method of payment. Payment is currently only available via regular
mail until a secure transmission can be ensured.
The SKCC Foundation uses IP addresses to administer the site,
track user movement and gather demographic information for aggregate
use. IP addresses are not linked to identifiable information.
The SKCC Foundation does not use cookies to track its visitors.
2. Use of the Information the SKCC
Foundation
Gathers
The information which is gathered on the donor and "more information"
forms is used to create a database for donor solicitation.
3. Sharing of the Information the SKCC
Foundation Gathers
The SKCC Foundation does not release the names, e-mail, addresses,
or telephone numbers of those who share their information with us to
vendors, marketing groups, or any other third parties.
4. Opt-out Policy
Occasionally, the SKCC Foundation will update people who
have filled out the forms about new donor opportunities or news about
the Cancer Center via e-mail and/or regular mail. If you would like
to
opt-out of being solicited by this, please send a written and signed
